RPM Adds In-circuit Programming for Zilog Crimzon
Affordable production programmer for Zilog's new ZLF645 family is fast and reliable.
RPM Systems Corporation (Redmond, Washington U.S.A.) today announces programming support for Zilog's ZLF645 Crimzon wireless remote-control microcontrollers. Available immediately, the MPQ-Z8 programmer provides in-circuit programming of all flash-based devices in the ZLF645 Crimzon family. The new Crimzon support is in addition to existing Zilog Z8 Encore! and ZMC motor-control microcontrollers already supported by MPQ-Z8. Designed to provide medium- to high-volume in-circuit programming in the manufacturing environment, the MPQ supports programming of as few a four to as many as 64 devices per programming cycle.
It can operate stand-alone, ATE-controlled or PC-controlled, and provides such features as automatic device serialization, "CM" code security data protection and field upgradeable device support in a rugged aluminum enclosure. MPQ is provided complete with power supply, target connection cables and MPManager software. The MPQ-Z8 data sheet is available online at http://www.rpmsys.com/mpq-z8.pdf. MPQ programming support is also available for Atmel AVR and AVR32, Cypress PSoC Cypress enCoReTM II and Silicon Labs C8051 microcontroller families. A complete list of device support can found at http://www.rpmsys.com/mpq.html
