IntellaFlex Packet Aggregator Blade - 40G
Ethernet running at 40 Gigabits per second is the new standard to meet bandwidth demands in production data centers. Even the largest and most advanced data centers are working to provide adequate data security with a limited selection of tools capable of monitoring traffic at 40G Ethernet speeds.
Highest 40G Port Density
This new IntellaFlex blade provides 8 ports of 40G Ethernet, together with 24 ports of configurable 1G or 10G Ethernet, making it perfectly suited to the enterprise production data center environment. When integrated into APCON's unique 4 rack unit extended capability backplane IntellaPatch Series 3000 chassis, data center managers can configure up to 32 ports of 40G and 96 ports of 10G Ethernet, all fully aggregatable.
Inter-Switch Trunking Support
When two IntellaPatch Series 3000 40G switches are configured with this blade, an inter-switch trunk link can be established to move large volumes of data between switches at line rate without risk of dropped packets. 40G trunking support allows enterprise-level data center installations to monitor "big data" efficiently.
Compatible Hardware
APCON's IntellaFlex 40G Ethernet blades are designed to fit into any APCON IntellaPatch Series 3000 chassis, from 1RU to 8RU, providing maximum scalability. Interchangeable blades, redundant switch control cards, and redundant power supplies ensure maximum uptime in production data centers.
