APCON Takes Home the Gold in the 10th Annual 2014 Security Industry's Global Excellence Awards

Wilsonville, Ore., Feb. 25, 2014 - APCON, the most comprehensive and intelligent network monitoring solution for Fortune 1000 companies and service providers, today announced that it has been recognized by Info Security Products Guide as a winner in the 2014 Global Excellence Awards.

APCON’s IntellaFlex 36-Port Time Stamping and Packet Slicing Blade was recognized as a Gold winner in two categories: New Products, and Security Products and Solutions for Finance and Banking. The IntellaFlex blade also received the Bronze award in the Network Security and Management category.

The IntellaFlex 36-Port Time Stamping and Packet Slicing Blade has the highest precision time stamping available at sub 10nS resolution, and supports the most accurate timing sources in the industry. For example, packet slicing can be used to remove sensitive customer data such as credit card numbers, social security numbers and account information embedded within packets destined for monitoring tools. The security industry celebrated its 10th Annual 2014 Global Excellence Awards in San Francisco by honoring excellence in every facet of the industry including products, people behind the successes and best companies.
