APCON's IntellaStore 1RU network monitoring switch with Wireshark packet capture offers a capability unique among network data analysis switching solutions – the power to isolate portions of network traffic and then store and analyze them right on the switch.
Onboard Disk Storage
IntellaStore allows network engineers to save filtered data captures from a single source or multiple aggregated links. Data capture files may be specified based on a time period, file size, or the number of packets to capture. Capture files are saved to 1.5TB of onboard disk space on every IntellaStore, making the device a convenient low-cost network recording tool.
Network Data Analysis with Wireshark
Once stored, captured data can be analyzed with the popular Wireshark packet sniffer module that has been embedded in the IntellaStore switch. Wireshark opens directly in a browser window and offers the full functionality of the software for immediate network data analysis.
Data File Export
Data center managers with proprietary or external analysis tools can easily export IntellaStore data capture files for external review. You can access files directly from the switch or through an optional file sharing module.
