APCON announces European launch of its Next-Generation Network Visibility and Security Solution at IP EXPO

APCON’s IntellaView Series 4000 will be on display on Stand CC5

Wilsonville, Ore., Sept. 14, 2017 – At IP EXPO, APCON, a leading provider of intelligent network visibility and security solutions, will launch its new generation IntellaView family to provide enterprises and service providers with even greater network performance and security insights at their remote sites, data centers, and in private and public cloud deployments.

The first development of APCON’s IntellaView unified family of global visibility and security solutions, the new IntellaView Series 4000 platform is being demonstrated in Europe for the first time. It delivers an industry-leading scalable solution, with even greater bandwidth and higher port densities, which enables the monitoring/analysis and enhances the security of data in physical, virtualised and cloud environments.

IntellaView Series 4000 aggregates incoming network traffic, applies advanced filtering technology, and provides decryption and deep packet inspection capabilities. It intelligently distributes optimised traffic to network performance and security analytics applications.

Kevin Copestake, sales manager UK & Ireland for APCON, says that IntellaView family’s advanced security features reduce threats by eliminating network blind spots: “Our technology effectively magnifies the visibility of data pouring into your network and multiplies security giving greater protection,” he explains.

The new IntellaView Series 4000 platform helps to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of any existing security and network performance or application monitoring tools, helping IT and Security teams better manage their costs and get more out of their network monitoring investment. It means organisations can deal with much higher volumes of data whilst simultaneously dealing with much greater security threats, at lower cost.

Richard Rauch, president and CEO of APCON, believes that visibility of data in the network is essential: “Security threats evolve and visibility into today’s network mandates scalable and advanced traffic visibility technologies,” he says. “IntellaView Series 4000 allows end users to safeguard their data across a mix of network environments.”
