The Sifos PowerSync Analyzer family is recognized as the market leading test platform as it has been built from the ground up for testing the IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) compliance. It can also test multiport capabilities of Power over Ethernet switching equipment under full load. Sifos also fully supports LLDP emulation & Analysis. Conformance test reports can be automatically generated showing all measured values compared to their allowed limits.

Sifos offers both rack-mount multiport systems as well as portable testers. The Rackmount systems are offered with automated multiport testing. The portable units allow field engineers to quickly determin PoE/PoE+ compatibility of Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) and Powered Devices to get to the root course of PoE incompatability problems.

Sifos also offers their famous DOCSIS 2.0 test system and DOCSIS test services.

Engineering Team, Founders
The technical team has 80+ years of experience, at small and large companies, in commercial and defense industries, and has successfully taken products from conception to product release and support. The technical backgrounds encompass a wide range of experience/expertise from test system and fixture development, wireless communications, and networking technologies.  Team members have authored numerous technical publications and multiple patents.  Members of the team have helped found profitable companies which were subsequently acquired.
 
David Lucia, President and Founder
David Lucia has extensive experience with the test & measurement industry and has held a variety of positions. Prior to founding Sifos Technologies, David was the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Azimuth Networks, a company developing cutting edge R&D and design verification test equipment for the Wireless LAN industry. David spent much of his career in Hewlett Packard and Agilent holding business development and sales positions. David holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Babson College.
