UNRIVALLED PRICE-PEFORMANCE FOR POLYSTAR NEXT GENERATION VOLTE LOAD TESTStockholm, Sweden, 27 February 2013 - Polystar, a leading supplier of Service Assurance, Network Monitoring and Test Solutions for the telecom market, today announced the launch of its next generation load- and feature-testing tool Solver. Solver delivers full wire-speed load on 10 Gb Ethernet ports with voice traffic that helps communication service providers and network manufactures to efficiently test voice handling and voice quality in their labs and networks. Solver can now be operated from a central management system to control all aspects of core network testing and simulate user behaviour. It is available as a rack-mounted server-based system for heavy load testing, as well as in a Lite edition, which could be run on an ordinary laptop. Smaller in scope, it offers the exact same functionality and features in an efficient and portable format. With Solver Lite, it is possible to simulate a couple of hundreds simultaneous calls – perfect for quick and easy on-site testing. VoLTE technology improves the efficiency of mobile voice communication, while introducing new call scenarios. During the implementation phase of VoLTE in network nodes and in operators' live networks, a large amount of new scenarios will need to be handled. With Solver all these scenarios can be simulated and tested to ensure the right functionality with real voice traffic. Solver can put the network or relevant nodes under low or high load to find functional problems or quality issues.
