APCON Announces TitanXR Multi-Switch Management Software and TitanMobile App
Single dashboard interface provides faster incident response with global view of the APCON switch network and analysis tool farm utilization.
Wilsonville, Ore., April 9, 2015 – APCON, a provider of intelligent network monitoring solutions, today announced the release of its TitanXR multi-‐switch management software and TitanMobile app. This new suite of multi-‐switch management software offers centralized network-wide status, alerts, user administration and operation efficiency, as well as utilization statistics of network performance, application and security analysis tools.
APCON will demonstrate TitanXR on booth 732 at the RSA Conference 2015, from April 20 – 24 in San Francisco, California.

Centralized Management and Customized Dashboards TitanXR’s global view provides visual confirmation of the operational status of the entire monitoring network. Users can view switches in map and list formats, with a quick visual indicator of status. TitanXR provides a customizable summary of events, allowing users to sort by several fields – including date and time, event type, IP address and system name – to quickly find and resolve monitoring issues.
Within the dashboard, users can create and customize charts for any switch and its specific statistics. Port-‐level, packet and RMON statistics can all be monitored on dashboards, displaying utilization and usage trends.
Full Switch GUI Access and Updates With a streamlined and consistent GUI, TitanXR provides easy access to all switch features and increases operational efficiency. It can immediately support new firmware versions and features, eliminating the complexity and delay from large deployments and system upgrades. TitanXR makes it easy to schedule backups, updates and future reports, as well as switch firmware updates. Enterprise-Class Security TitanXR’s enterprise class security combines TACACS+ and Radius secure user administration with AAA authentication, secure HTTPS/SSH transmission and session time-out enforcement. The administrator can track login, logout, failed attempts and activity times, keeping an eye on current and recent user activity.
Real-time Visibility with TitanMobile app Recognizing the 24/7 responsibility of network monitoring, APCON extended visibility to mobile devices with the release of TitanMobile. Available across Android tablets and smartphones, TitanMobile provides real-‐time status of the APCON monitoring network, reducing time-to-resolution by providing technical staff with a complete global view of the network at all times. The user-friendly interface provides network visibility, system and link status, alarm and threshold notifications, and log history, allowing users to view and diagnose issues remotely.
