Polystar to supply Interconnect and Service Management Solution to MTS Uzbekistan

Polystar OSIX, a leading supplier of OSS/BSS solutions, today announced that MTS Uzbekistan, a daughter company of Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) and the largest mobile operator in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, has selected Polystar for Interconnect, Network and Service Performance Management.

Under the terms of the agreement, MTS Uzbekistan will deploy Polystar Interconnect Peering Assurance, Network and Service Assurance solutions to cover legacy, as well as GPRS, VoIP and UMTS technologies. This will facilitate MTS Uzbekistan to use network performance, customer and business intelligence information in the most efficient and proactive manner, to prioritise and resolve customer-impacting problems with speed and accuracy. Jupiter's Crystallizer module will enable users to work with the 4D visualisation techniques and have an instant access to usage and performance information for voice, messaging and data services from the customer and network perspectives.

Reflecting on the successful conclusion of the deal, a representative of MTS Uzbekistan commented: "We selected Polystar because of their extensive experience in network and service performance monitoring, as well as their flexible, customisable and extremely customer-oriented business approach. We operate in a very dynamic and competitive market, where cooperation with trusted suppliers is vitally important. In turn our subscribers will take advantage of the top quality connection and improved level of customer experience."

"This agreement is a fundamental step in the further development of our business partnership with MTS," said Polystar VP Sales Russia and CIS, Detlef Ott. "It is a particular honour to be recognised as a preferred supplier at the forefront of NGN developments on the Central Asian market. Polystar future-proof products will enable MTS Uzbekistan to increase its competitive advantages, by providing a high quality of service and bringing the most innovative mobile products and services to its customers."
